The City of Chandler Community Services Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as Head Pool Manager (part-time, temporary, non-benefited). This position is at the discretion of the department director and is scheduled to work morning, afternoon, and evening programming shifts, including weekends.
Current City of Chandler employees may only hold one position and are not eligible for additional part-time or secondary positions within the City of Chandler.

We seek someone with good decision-making skills regarding employee scheduling, training and coaching employees, prioritizing daily work assignments, and performing daily duties efficiently.

- A High School Diploma or GED; and
- 2 years of experience as a lifeguard or swimming instructor, including at least 1 year of experience supervising lifeguards, swim lesson instructors, and/or aquatics programs and activities; and
- A nationally recognized Lifeguard Certification; and
- Swim Lesson Instructor Certification within 2 months of hire or promotion; and
- A valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work
- A Lifeguard Training Instructor Certification
- A Swim Instructor Trainer Certification
- A Aquatics Facility Operator Certification
