What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Slide Attendant position at City of Cape Girardeau?
General Definition of Work
- Ensure safety and enforce rules for all customers at Cape Girardeau Aquatic Centers.
Essential Functions
- Be familiar with all rules for Slides and Splash Pad at Aquatic Facilities.
- Enforce rules consistently and respectfully with all customers.
- Direct all customer conflicts and complaints to a Facility Manager.
- Support coworkers by positive interaction and rotating on time.
- Maintain facility cleanliness through routine cleaning.
- Provide emergency response as needed.
- Responsible for communicating effectively with patrons, co-workers, and management.
- Responsible for reporting to work on time, in uniform, and prepared to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must have good communication and public relation skills.
- American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid Certifications are required via in house training upon hire.
