The position is responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) requirements. The Finance Director provides strategic financial analysis and recommendations to support policy decisions, long-range financial planning, and the City’s overall fiscal health.
