What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Worker I - Lift Stations position at City of Branson?

What You'll Do:
- Assist with the operation and maintenance of the City's wastewater lift stations.
- Learn how to inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain pumps, alarms, and control systems.
- Work alongside skilled technicians and contribute to a team that keeps critical infrastructure running.
What are the requirements to be considered?
- A High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- One (1) year of experience in performing semi-skilled building, mechanical maintenance tasks on pumping equipment or related work.
- Possess a valid driver's license and must be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position.
- Be willing and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Be able to pass a background investigation, drug and alcohol, Pulmonary Fitness (PFT), and physical capability screenings.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: The starting hourly wage is $20.06 per hour andwill increase to $20.86 per hour after 6 months of successful probation.

WORK LOCATION: In and around the City of Branson, Missouri; This position requires work to be performed onsite.
