Who we are looking for:

  • Someone with a High school diploma or GED, along with three (3) years of electrical experience in installation, maintenance, and repairor completion of an electrical apprenticeship.
  • Possession of a Journeyman Electrician's license with working knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) standards.
  • A valid driver's license with the ability to be insured on the city's insurance plan.
  • Ability to obtain Work Zone Safety certification within 6 (six) months of employment.
  • Willingness to respond to emergency call-outs and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check, drug and alcohol screening, and physical agility assessment.

Looking to stand out?While not required, the following skills, experience, and training can help set you apart from other applicants:

  • Possession of International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) Traffic Signal Technician 1.
  • Experience with repair work of street lighting.

What You'll Do:

  • Install, maintain, and repair a wide range of electrical systems, including street lighting, traffic signals, high-voltage equipment, and facility systems.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot electrical issues to keep critical infrastructure operating safely and efficiently.
  • Operate tools and equipmentincluding bucket trucksto complete electrical work in the field.

The starting hourly wage is $28.04 per hour.Candidates who exceed the minimum qualifications can earn up to $33.65 an hour.

WORK HOURS: Monday through Friday, 7:30a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Some after hours will be required.
WORK LOCATION:In and around the City of Branson, Missouri; This position requires work to be performed onsite.
