What are the responsibilities and job description for the Campground Manager position at City of Branson?

POSITION SUMMARY:The Campground Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the Branson Lakeside RV Park. The park 135 full hook-up sites, laundry facilities, clubhouse, shower house, and fishing docks. Primary duties include management of reservations through campground specific software, guest check-in, cash handling and daily preparation of the deposit. The Campground Manager will report directly to the Parks and Recreation Director or Assistant Director.

CLOSING DATE: Until filled

WORK HOURS: Typically Tuesday thru Saturday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND TRAINING
High School graduate or GED equivalent is required.
At least five (5) years' experience in facility, business, or hotel management is required.
Additional licenses or certifications may be required for this position.
A valid Motor Vehicle Operator's license is required.
PREFERED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Recreation Administration, Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Marketing or closely related field is preferred.
CPR, First Aid, and AED Certificates are preferred for this position.
National Career Readiness Certificate is preferred.
MISCELLANEOUS REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be extremely detail oriented, efficient, and have excellent organization skills.
Must be highly engaged in the department's goals and be able to work cooperatively with the Parks and Recreation leadership in achieving those goals.
Must possess a high degree of integrity, strong work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must demonstrate excellent customer service to those of internal or external to the department.
Must be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position
Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug and alcohol screenings.
Must fulfill I-9 identification requirements within the guidelines set forth by the Department of Homeland Security through the E-Verify system.
