The City of Boise is seeking an Integration Engineer Lead to architect enterprise integration solutions across our complex ecosystem of on-premise and cloud systems. This hands-on technical leadership role requires deep expertise in Microsoft Azure Integration Services, API design, and middleware platforms.
What You'll Do
Design and implement integrations connecting ERP, public safety, utility, and cloud systems using Azure Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, and enterprise service buses. Lead a team of integration engineers while remaining deeply involved in architecture, code reviews, and solving complex technical challenges. Your solutions will directly support critical operations serving 250,000 residents.
Who We're Looking For
Required: 6 years designing enterprise integrations with ESBs, API gateways, and message brokers. Expert-level proficiency in C#, Python, or Java. Strong experience with RESTful APIs, event-driven architecture, and troubleshooting production integration issues.
Highly Desired: ERP integration experience (especially Tyler, SAP, or Oracle implementations), Microsoft Azure integration services expertise, government/public sector background, and track record of establishing integration standards and mentoring technical teams.
