The Events Assistant will report to the Sales and Events Manager and will be providing exceptional customer service creating a warm, friendly and inviting atmosphere to our guests and clients.
The Cooper Creek Event Center provides an inviting, upscale destination overlooking the scenic Blue Ash Golf Course with immaculate grounds, a grand entrance and breathtaking views.

This is responsible clerical and support work requiring an employee capable of exercising mature judgment and initiative in the performance of a variety of duties. The employee in this class must have excellent public relations skills; attention to detail; ability to maintain composure and promote positive working relationships when under pressure; and a working knowledge of modern office procedures and equipment. The employee in this class assists in a variety of event operations and activities.
- Responsible for clerical work related to events including correspondence, scheduling appointments, maintaining records, etc.;
- Responsible for answering the phone for the venue and fielding calls and inquiries;
- Responsible for taking client payments and answering financial or invoicing questions accurately;
- Supervises events to ensure clients needs are accomplished and events are executed to the highest standards;
- Displays vast knowledge of Cooper Creek Event Center caterers/vendors and venue information including capacity, pricing, Audio Visual capabilities, etc. and should be able to professionally articulate the information to clients
General knowledge of hospitality industry; experience in sales and events; excellent customer service skills; able to create and maintain harmonious working relationships; is an effective team player; demonstrates a mature and pleasant personality; ability to follow directions; good physical condition; neat appearance and courteous attitude toward the public.
At least 2 years experience in working in hospitality industry or any combination of skill and experience that relates directly to the tasks to be performed is preferred. Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license.
