Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental engineering, Business, Construction Management, or a closely related field from an accredited university is required.
- A minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in public works management/construction management, with three (3) years of senior supervisory experience is required; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience to effectively manage the Public Works department.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Class C Texas driver’s license.
- Professional Engineer License is highly preferred. If licensed and it is not from the State of Texas, the selected candidate must obtain Texas Registered Professional Engineer license within 6 months from the date of employment.
- TCEQ certification in water/wastewater operations is preferred
