Seasonal Maintenance Assistant – Bangor International Airport
Opportunities are taking off with the City of Bangor at Bangor International Airport. We are seeking a Seasonal Maintenance Assistant to support airport operations in a fast-paced aviation environment.
This position assists with monitoring and adjusting a conveyor belt system, with opportunities to learn preventive maintenance and basic repair skills.
Schedule
The schedules will be as follows:
First Shift: Thursday 9:30a to 1:30p, Friday - Monday 8:30a to 12:30p
Second Shift: Friday - Monday 10:30a to 2:30p, Tuesday 9:30a to 1:30p
Ability to shift one hour or - to accommodate peak flight scheduling.

Requirements & Working Conditions
- Mechanical or Maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Moderate to heavy physical work (regularly up to 50 lbs., occasionally up to 80 lbs.)
- Frequent bending, stooping, and equipment operation
- Work performed indoors or in covered areas with exposure to noise (protective equipment provided)
