Pay Rate - $15.16/hr
Position Purpose
Driving Range/Cart attendants assist in the day-to-day golf and driving range operations.
Staging/washing carts, turning on/off the range machine, staging range baskets, loading the range machine with clean range balls, picking up range baskets.
Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for picking up the golf balls on the driving range, washing and loading range balls in the range ball dispenser, staging/cleaning carts.
- Drives and operates a golf cart, range picker and marshal cart.
- Communicates in a friendly, responsive and professional manner to customers and co-workers.

Previous golf course experience preferred.

- Must be at least 16 years of age.
Physical Demands
- Moderate to considerable physical effort that includes working from ladders in awkward positions. Frequent use of light or medium weight objects (e.g., 25-50 lbs.) and use of medium weight tools.
Hazards
- Marginal to moderate exposure to conditions that are unpredictable and may lead to injury.
Work Environment
- Regular exposure to heat and noise along with working outside in the elements.
The City of Arvada does not offer benefits to temporary and/or seasonal employees. Temporary, Variable Hour and Health Plan Eligible employees will earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum cap of 48 hours.
