What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitor/Cleaner position at City Maids?
We are seeking a dependable, dedicated, and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to join our team. This is a part-time position working 3 days per week at a medical office building located in the Chinatown area.
Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (2:00pm-8:00pm)
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures to ensure clarity and shine.
- Restock cleaning supplies and ensure all cleaning tools are properly maintained.
- Follow safety protocols to prevent slips, trips, falls, or other hazards during cleaning activities.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly to management for quick resolution.
Qualifications:
- Proper work authorization, a SSN or ITIN#
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of janitorial equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining standards of cleanliness.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Follow safety procedures and maintaining a clean working environment.
Pay: From $19.61 per hour
