Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques.
- Handle chemical cleaning agents safely, adhering to proper handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Conduct pressure washing for exterior surfaces such as building facades, walkways, and parking areas to maintain curb appeal.
- Manage laundry services including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens or uniforms as needed.
- Maintain sanitation standards through regular disinfecting of high-touch surfaces and infection control practices.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly at all times to ensure safety during cleaning tasks involving chemicals or heavy lifting.
- Operate janitorial equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, pressure washers, and window cleaning tools efficiently.
Experience
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial or industrial setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques including floor care, window cleaning, and sanitation procedures is advantageous.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting of supplies or equipment.
- Experience with infection control practices and proper chemical handling enhances your effectiveness in this role.
- Strong customer service skills are beneficial for interacting professionally with staff and visitors while maintaining a positive attitude.
