Personal Assistant
Our family is hiring a part-time Personal Assistant for roughly 15 hours each week. Hours we need coverage are outlined below:
· Weekly on Sundays – 5 hours (Start time can be flexible, but end time is not later than 5pm)
· Weekly on Mon or Tues – 5 hours (Start time can be flexible) and;
· Weekly on Thurs or Fri – 5 hours (Start time can be flexible) and;
Responsibilities:
Running errands, shopping, and handling returns.
Breaking down recycling and taking out the trash from the house.
Taking inventory of groceries, toiletries, cleaning products and placing online orders and pick-ups.
Putting away groceries or other deliveries.
Disposing of dog waste for small Boston Terrier.
Watering plants.
Managing all laundry for the family, including putting the clothes away in dressers and hanging clothes up in closets.
Light housecleaning. We have deep house cleaning every two weeks, but we need the following: vacuuming/mopping in the floors every two weeks. Clean bathroom vanity, sink, and toilet every two weeks. We provide non-toxic cleaners, gloves, and supplies.
Researching large purchases and comparisons.
Investigating businesses on Yelp or other review websites.
Helping with ad hoc projects like planning a garage sale, selling items on eBay, etc.
Required Skills/Experience:
College degree or is currently enrolled in a related technical program, or 2- or 4-year degree program.
Proficiency in To Do List apps and other technology to help with efficiency, such as Microsoft Office.
Reliable transportation.
Willing to wear a mask/follow social distancing guidelines when sick, and when the family is sick to avoid spreading illness.
Comfortable with a dog (Boston Terrier) in the home.
Must pass a background check and sign an NDA.
Pay Range:
$20-$22 per hour (depending on experience). Mileage will be reimbursed at the current IRS rate when tasks require you to drive your own vehicle.
