City Dogz is seeking an energetic, dependable, and dog-loving Dog Daycare Team Member to support daily daycare and boarding operations through a combination of hands-on canine care, client service, and operational support.
This position blends playgroup supervision, dog care, customer interaction, administrative tasks, and facility operations such as cleaning. The ideal candidate enjoys both working directly with dogz and the clients, while also helping ensure the business runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Position Overview
The Dog Daycare Team Member is responsible for supervising play groups, monitoring dog behavior, managing client check-ins and check-outs, distributing meals and medications, completing grooming services, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a clean and safe facility.
This role requires strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for animal care and customer service.
Schedule and Pay
- Starting pay: $14–$17 per hour, depending on experience and interview
- 20–40 hours per week, depending on scheduling needs and availability
- Schedule may include:
- Morning shifts or evening shifts
- Extended shifts available (10–12 hours with a 1-hour lunch break)
- Short support shifts (approximately 5 hours)
- Weekends and Holidays required
- 1.5x pay offered when working on major holidays as defined by the company

Primary ResponsibilitiesDog Care & Playgroup Management
- Supervise play groups
- Monitor dog behavior, body language, and group dynamics
- Perform temperament evaluations
- Facilitate potty breaks and kennel routines
- Provide enrichment activities
- Take photos and document detailed behavior notes
- Communicate observations and concerns with team members
- Assist with overnight setup and end-of-day dog care routines
Client Service & Front Desk Operations
- Greet clients and manage daily check-ins and check-outs
- Answer phones, emails, and communicate with pet parents
- Maintain accurate client and dog records
- Track belongings and personal items
- Prepare reports for add-on and grooming services
Feeding, Medications & Records
- Prepare and distribute meals, medications, and water
- Accurately track feeding and medication information in Gingr
Grooming & Departure Services
- Complete grooming services for departing dogz
- Coordinate and prepare dogs for pickup
Facility Operations & Maintenance
- Clean and sanitize yards, play rooms, kennels, floors, dishes, and common areas
- Perform laundry and dishwashing throughout shifts
- Reset yards and rooms throughout the day
- Maintain safety standards across all facility spaces
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Support basic administrative and operational tasks as needed
