Pharmacy Technician – Independent Retail Pharmacy – Hiring Immediately
We are a busy, locally owned independent pharmacy in the Jackson, Mississippi area looking for a dependable and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced pharmacy environment, knows how to take care of customers, and wants to work with a locally owned pharmacy team.
Position: Full-Time Pharmacy Technician
Location: Jackson, Mississippi area
Schedule: Monday–Friday with some Saturday hours. Closed Sundays.
Start Date: Immediately
Responsibilities
- Enter and process prescriptions accurately
- Assist with prescription filling and workflow
- Handle insurance claims, rejections, and basic troubleshooting
- Communicate professionally with patients, physicians' offices, and insurance companies
- Assist customers at pickup and checkout
- Maintain an organized and efficient work area
- Work closely with pharmacists and other technicians in a high-volume environment

- Previous retail pharmacy experience strongly preferred
- Mississippi pharmacy technician registration preferred
