What you'll do
This is a very rewarding 2:1 role that requires a confident, caring and friendly care professional.
In this role you will be supporting a client through the night who has cerebral palsy, is non-verbal and uses a wheelchair. The key duties with this role include assistance with mobility and providing personal care - including bowel management (experience in this area is beneficial).
The client attends a day centre and enjoys access to a sensory room at home. At weekends he loves to go out for a ice cream and go on walks. We're looking for a confident, compassionate, and friendly care professional who can provide consistent, high-quality support.
We are looking for a care professional who brings energy, empathy and enthusiasm to every shift. You will be someone who values building strong relationships and providing high quality and attentive care.
At our organisation, we care for individuals of all ages with a range of complex needs, including spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, and acquired brain injuries, both in the community and at home. Due to public transport limitations in the area, a driver with access to a car is preferred.
