We are looking for a Senior Accountant, General Ledger to join the Accounts Payable (AP) team within the Corporate Finance department.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare general ledger entries, analyses, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and manage various balance sheet account reconciliations, as well as keep the records current monthly.
- Assist with intercompany reconciliations.
- Assist in monthly closing, resolving discrepancies, and verifying various transactions, all in accordance with close calendar timelines.
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Assist with external audit inquiries.
- Work on ad-hoc projects and analysis (as needed).
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- 3-5 years of proven experience in general accounting.
- Possess an understanding of US GAAP.
- Experience with general ledger operations and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Possess effective written and oral communication skills.
- Be advanced in Microsoft Excel, including but not limited to V-lookups and pivot tables.
- Have prior experience with Microsoft NAV (preferred).
- CPA (preferred).
Salary : $95,000 - $135,000
