Citizens Savings Bank, a locally owned Community Bank is seeking a qualified individual for a Chief Financial Officer/Cashier position.
This position oversees all auditing, record keeping, budgeting, tax and accounting activities of the financial institution. Makes recommendations relating to budget preparation, profit forecasts, and operational changes as needed. Responsible for financial institution’s funds management and risk management activities. Sits on IT, Investment and Asset/Liability committees and serves as Trust Officer. Prepares quarterly financial reports. Ideal candidate will be responsible for all accounting functions of the bank, reconciliation of accounts, help maintain the bank’s investment portfolio, assist with balance sheet management, help manage relationships with correspondent banks, administer brokered CD transactions, call reporting, sales tax reporting, prepare annual budget, and manage the bank’s human resources department. Strong attention to detail is required along with a willingness to learn and expand responsibilities. Preferred candidate should have 3-5 years experience in banking operations and a related two or four year degree.
