Overview
We are seeking 1 compassionate and organized House Manager to each oversee the daily operations of a residential group home . The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating member care, supervising staff, and ensuring a safe, clean, and supportive environment for individuals with diverse needs. This role requires a strong background in healthcare, caregiving, and community support, with a focus on enhancing residents' quality of life through personalized care plans and attentive supervision.

A House Manager would work a 6 am to 2 pm shift Monday through Friday with the flexibility to move to a 2pm to 10pm shift. The House Manager rotates on call duties with the other House Managers. As full-time there are health, vision, and dental benefits and a retirement plan with company match.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee daily activities for residents, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
  • Supervise caregiving staff to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to care plans
  • Monitor residents’ health status by observing vital signs, member monitoring, and recognizing changes in condition
  • Administer medications following HIPAA regulations and prescribed protocols
  • Assist with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met in accordance with dietary guidelines
  • Implement and update individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs, including dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, autism, or developmental differences.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed, including proper use of Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices such as resident lifts, if needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to member care, medication administration, and incident reports
  • Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic environment
  • Support residents’ emotional well-being through compassionate interaction and social engagement
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals such as nurses, social workers, and therapists to coordinate comprehensive care

Requirements

  • Proven experience in assisted living, long-term care, home health, hospice care, or group home settings
  • Knowledge of member observation techniques and vital signs monitoring
  • Certification or experience in CPR and First Aid, CRMA, and DSP required; additional certifications such as HIPAA compliance preferred,
  • Experience working with people with disabilities, developmental differences, dementia or Alzheimer’s disease is highly desirable
  • Ability to assist with ADLs using appropriate techniques including Hoyer lifts and other mobility aids
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to develop and implement personalized care plans
  • Excellent communication skills for working effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for resident transfers or equipment handling
  • Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful and dignified care for all residents

Pay: $19.00 - $19.76 per hour
