What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transporter - Hospital Radiology position at Citizens Memorial?
Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Transporter to join our staff in the Radiology Department at our main hospital in Bolivar, MO! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, rehab therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!
A typical day will include: Transporting patients via wheelchair, bed, and stretcher, handling medical equipment safely, including IV pumps, oxygen tanks, and other equipment used in patient transport.
- Prepares patients for transport and assists patients on and off the table.
- Maintains professional relationships with patients.
- Follows safety precautions and infection control techniques for working with and transporting patients.
Job Requirements:
- Education: HS diploma
- Experience: Prior patient care experience preferred
- Skills: Patient care
- Licensure/Certification: N/A
- Physical: ability to work standing and walking 90% of the time with minimal sitting opportunities.
The position is: PRN, evenings 2pm-10:30pm (arrival time is flexible) - approximately 56 hours every 2 weeks.
