Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Mental Health Technician to provide exceptional care for our patients in our Parkview Geriatric Wellness Department. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

A typical day includes: Performing patient care duties under the direction of licensed nursing personnel, utilizing equipment, supplies, and procedures appropriate to the ages of the patients served including adult and geriatric patient populations.
- Assisting with or performs patient activities of daily living, encouraging independent functioning when appropriate.
- Assisting patient comfort measures are met performing frequent rounds on patients and anticipating patient needs.
- Assisting with individual and group activities.
Job Requirements:
- Education: HS diploma
- Experience: No experience needed. We provide on the job training! It is a plus if you are certified as a nurse assistant.
- Skills: Good Communication Skills, Patience, Attention to detail, Flexibility, Intrapersonal Skills, Willing to learn and be a valuable person for the department.
- Licensure/Certification: N/A
- Physical: ability to work at a fast pace with about 90% of the day consists of walking.
The position is Full Time, Nights.
