CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. About the Department: El Dorado Springs Medical Center offers Primary Care, Walk in hours, Mental Health Services, with access to provide Laboratory services and X-Ray. Services offered are acute walk-in care, geriatric, simple procedures, contraception management, wellness care, obstetrical care, weight loss management and pediatrics.
A typical day includes: being responsible for managing the care of patients experiencing medical conditions.
- Must be able to assess the patient's condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs.
- Keep records and provide patients and families with support and education.
- The nurse maintains a wide array of medical care knowledge in order to care for a diverse group of patients.
Job Requirements:
- Education:Graduate of an accredited nursing program, LPN; or Medical Assistant Program
- Experience: Previous Nursing or related healthcare experience.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong critical thinking/problem-solving skills; exhibits valuable time management skills.
- Licensure/Certification:Required: LPN license active in the state of Missouri or active verifiable Medical Assistance Certification
- Physical: The ability to stand for extended periods of time
The position is: Part-Time, Rotating; Hours may vary
