The Assistant Manager, Ecommerce Merchandising is responsible for supporting the day-to-day merchandising activities for our DTC ecommerce businesses across our family of brands, primarily Citizen and Bulova, but also including Frederique Constant, Alpina, and Accutron. This person will work closely and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to successfully launch new products, execute merchandising strategies, manage inventory, execute campaigns & promotions, test new site features & functionality, provide weekly/monthly/ad-hoc reporting and analysis, and suggest opportunities to optimize conversion and ecommerce sales performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Own new product set up and merchandising, ensuring product pages are created and completed with all necessary components in place, launched on time, and merchandised in appropriate categories
- Manage and execute site merchandising plans and content updates; partner with cross-functional teams on the calendar of product launches, landing pages, promotions and emails. Manage the process, from planning and build to QA with stakeholders prior to launch
- Maintain site inventory, partnering closely with Planning to ensure top sellers remain in stock
- Set up all promotions, from planning to set up, testing, and reporting
- Ensure all category refinements (filters, search, etc.) are optimized and delivering accurate results
- Own weekly, monthly, and ad hoc ecommerce reporting, providing insights and highlighting opportunities as they arise
- Maintain master email and SMS calendar, briefing email and SMS campaigns
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of DTC ecommerce experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong execution skills
- Hands-on site merchandising experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud Business Manager or other major ecommerce platform
- Strong Excel skills; must be proficient in Google Analytics. DXP/behavioral analytics experience a plus
- Resourceful and resilient, with ability to think critically and troubleshoot issues independently
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with 5 years related DTC ecommerce experience
