JOB TITLE: Enrollment Intake Specialist
ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT: Tribal Enrollment Department
SUPERVISOR: Tribal Enrollment Manager
SALARY: $14.00 - $21.00/hr
FLSA: Non-Exempt
CPN Tribal Enrollment personnel may be assigned to provide services to persons of all ages including but not limited to Indian Children and will require a criminal history background screening.
ALL FULL TIME POSITIONS: In addition to your pay, your salary also includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. The Biweekly deduction from employee paycheck is $40.00 for Employee Only, $95.00 Employee plus Children, $120.00 Employee plus Spouse, and $140.00 Employee plus family.
JOB SUMMARY: The Enrollment Intake Specialist will be responsible for the regular implementation of the position’s essential functions (see below)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Greet and assist departmental walk-ins
- Answer, screen and forward departmental phone calls and emails
- Receive and distribute incoming and outgoing departmental mail
- Assist with general information and direct to appropriate CHC/Tribal departments
- Assist tribal members with Virtual Tribe, portal issues and linking profiles
- Process name changes and CDIB [CPN membership] cards
- Update member profiles with current contact and vital information
- Scan records, maintain electronic records and perform data entry
- Keep accurate and updated records for RV and camping reservations for CPN festival
- Work the Citizen Potawatomi Nation Family Reunion Festival
- Work the Citizen Potawatomi Nation FireFlight Balloon Festival*
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with enrollment applications
- Assist with burial inquiries, collecting information and fund applications
· Perform other duties and projects as required by management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
· High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic math proficiency and money management
- Excellent verbal and technical communication skills
- Working knowledge of principles and practices of office management
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Must be computer proficient [Microsoft Office/Excel, CPN Tribal Enrollment Database]
- Must have good customer service skills
- Must have good organizational skills
- Must be able to work independently, be self-directed and highly motivated
- Must be able to work in a team setting
- Must have valid driver’s license, and automobile liability insurance
- Must be able to travel
- Must be able to attend training sessions
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods performing repetitive work
· Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, stretching, and lifting
- Repetitive motions at the computer
WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Employee will be required to work in an office setting
· Must be willing to work occasional weekends and after 5pm on some weekdays
· Hours to be determined by Tribal Enrollment Manager
