Job Details
We are seeking a Technical Architect with deep expertise in EDI integration and cloud-native architecture to lead modernization initiatives for enterprise B2B platforms. The role involves designing scalable solutions, migrating legacy systems to Azure, and implementing microservices-based architectures for high-volume transactions.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture
- Define target architecture for EDI and integration workflows in a cloud-native environment (Azure).
- Design migration strategies from legacy platforms (TrustedLink, IBM Sterling) to modernized microservices and containerized deployments.
- Architect hybrid integration patterns using APIs, event-driven messaging, and Azure services.
Development & Mapping
- Create and maintain EDI maps (X12, EDIFACT, HIPAA) and orchestrate workflows using IBM Sterling and ITXA.
- Implement Azure-native components for integration (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid).
- Develop reusable templates for partner onboarding and transaction flows.
Cloud Enablement
- Design and deploy Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters for containerized components.
- Implement Azure Functions for serverless processing and automation.
- Configure Azure networking (VNet, subnets, NSGs) and identity management (Entra ID).
Partner Onboarding
- Configure trading partner profiles and secure communication channels (AS2, SFTP, HTTPS).
- Enable self-service onboarding portals integrated with Azure services.
Performance & Monitoring
- Implement observability using Azure Monitor, AppInsights, and Dynatrace.
- Optimize workflows for elastic scaling and high throughput.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure HIPAA and DEA compliance for healthcare transactions.
- Maintain version-controlled documentation and architecture diagrams.
Required Qualifications
- Experience:
- 10 years in EDI integration and architecture.
- Proven experience in cloud migration and modernization (Azure).
- Technical Skills:
- EDI standards: X12, EDIFACT, HIPAA transactions (837, 835, 270/271).
- Protocols: AS2, SFTP, HTTPS, FTP.
- IBM Sterling B2B Integrator & ITXA.
- Azure services: AKS, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Functions, Blob Storage.
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes.
- CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Terraform, Helm.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication.
- Ability to lead migration / modernization initiatives and mentor teams.
