Lead Cloud Architect | NYC | Commodity Trading
We are working with a growing trading firm seeking a Lead Cloud Architect Lead to shape the security architecture across their cloud and platform engineering environment.
This is a senior technical role sitting close to engineering, focusing on embedding security directly into cloud architecture, infrastructure and engineering platforms.
You will lead the design and implementation of modern cloud security architecture across AWS, working closely with platform engineering and DevOps teams to ensure security is integrated into core infrastructure and engineering practices.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud security architecture across AWS environments with a strong focus on identity, access management and network security
- Partner with engineering teams to embed security into cloud infrastructure, platform engineering and CI CD environments
- Establish modern security frameworks and architectural guardrails that support secure and scalable platform development
- Provide senior technical guidance on cloud networking, infrastructure security and access models
What we are looking for
- Strong experience designing and implementing cloud security architecture within AWS
- Deep technical knowledge of IAM, cloud networking and infrastructure security
- Experience working closely with platform engineering or DevOps teams in modern cloud environments
- Relevant networking or AWS security certifications are advantageous
Salary : $150,000 - $220,000
