Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Specialist to manage employment verification requests through the Employment Development Department (EDD). This role is critical in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant verification of employee employment information for benefits, unemployment claims, and other employment-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter, update, and maintain employee information in EDD verification systems.
• Respond to employment verification requests promptly and in compliance with EDD regulations.
• Review and cross-check documentation to ensure data integrity before submission.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external agencies regarding verification requests.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive employee data in accordance with company policies and EDD guidelines.
• Generate reports and track verification requests to ensure deadlines are met.
• Assist with auditing and correcting discrepancies in employment records.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in data entry, HR, payroll, or employment verification is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of EDD procedures and employment verification processes is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and database management systems.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
