Concrete Foreman β Residential Construction
Citation Site Services is looking for an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead residential concrete crews from excavation through completion. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who takes pride in quality work, keeps a jobsite organized, and knows how to keep a crew productive and on schedule.
The Concrete Foreman will report directly to a current Sr. Foreman and work closely with the Senior Foreman, superintendents, and project management team to execute projects efficiently and to company standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee residential concrete projects from excavation and layout through foundation construction and flatwork
- Read and interpret plans, elevations, dimensions, and specifications
- Lay out foundations, footings, walls, slabs, driveways, sidewalks, and other concrete work
- Direct and manage concrete crews and laborers
- Coordinate daily work with the Senior Foreman, superintendents, project managers, and other trades
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and company standards
- Manage daily manpower, materials, tools, and equipment
- Perform and oversee formwork, reinforcement, concrete placement, finishing, and cleanup
- Identify issues in the field and communicate them to the Senior Foreman before they become costly problems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite
- Maintain accountability and organization of company tools, equipment, trucks, and materials
- Conduct daily equipment and tool checks and report maintenance or repair needs
- Ensure crews properly use, maintain, and return company equipment
- Train and develop laborers, carpenters, and finishers
- Maintain accurate daily production and jobsite records
- Enforce company safety and quality standards
What We're Looking For
- 3 years of residential concrete experience, with foreman or lead experience preferred
- Strong understanding of residential excavation, foundations, and flatwork
- Ability to read construction plans and accurately lay out work
- Strong leadership and crew-management skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to operate and understand construction equipment
- Self-motivated with a strong "get it done" attitude
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently while following direction from the Senior Foreman
- Pride in workmanship and a commitment to quality
- Extremely organized and accountable with company tools and equipment
