Workover Foreman I

Responsibilities:

• Performs pumping unit, well performance, and analysis to optimize equipment and maximize production.
• Conducts all operations in a safe manner and in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations of the regulatory agencies.
• Oversees battery and facility construction projects, drilling operations and completion workovers, and pulling jobs and remedial workovers as required.
• Makes repairs as required and oversees third-party services when necessary to utilize.
• Troubleshoots specific wells at the request of the Production Foreman, Production or Operation Engineer and Region Operations Manager.
• Makes recommendations to remedy problems.
• Knowledgeable in all aspects of pumping unit, rod, and downhole pump design and operations.
• Knowledgeable in well-performance analysis, in-flow performance, and productivity index calculations.
• Knowledgeable of all forms of artificial lift currently in use in his area of assignment.
• Supervises pulling jobs and remedial workovers as required.
• Evaluate and recommend solutions to recurring downhole problems.

Qualifications:

• High School education or G.E.D.
• Employment is contingent upon wearing all types of breathing air equipment and passing a pulmonary function test and a fit test.
• Successful completion of industry schools as scheduled by Citation.
• Successful completion of safety and regulatory training as scheduled by Citation.

Physical Requirements:

• Involves climbing up stairways 20 ft. in height while wearing a breathing apparatus.
• Ability to move in and out of trenches during line repairs, carrying tools, and wearing breathing air equipment. Lifting, pushing & pulling are required during the maintenance and repair of production equipment.
