**Job Summary:**
Citation, a prominent independent oil and gas company, is seeking a Lease Operator II to join their team. As a Lease Operator II, you will play a critical role in operating and maintaining wells and equipment on assigned routes, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and conducting routine maintenance tasks.
**Responsibilities:**
- Operate and maintain all wells and equipment on assigned route safely and in compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate repairs and oversee third-party services when necessary.
- Monitor and record oil, water, and gas production, reporting any changes to the Production Foreman.
- Perform routine maintenance on well and production facility equipment.
- Identify and report problems such as leaks and spills, taking necessary repair actions.
- Understand chemical programs on assigned leases and monitor chemical usage.
- Familiarize yourself with flow lines, injection lines, and other company-operated lines on Citation's leases.
- Keep well sites and facilities clean and free of debris.
- Conduct monthly well tests, maintain accurate records, and report results to the Production Foreman.
- Conduct fluid level checks on wells as directed.
- Operate downhole and surface production equipment effectively.
**Qualifications:**
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Ability to wear various breathing air equipment, pass pulmonary function and fit tests.
- Completion of industry and safety training programs as scheduled by Citation.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Work outdoors year-round in diverse weather conditions.
- Climb stairs up to 20ft in height while wearing a breathing apparatus.
- Move in and out of trenches for line repairs, carrying tools and wearing breathing air equipment.
- Lift up to 50lbs and perform pushing and pulling tasks.
