Position Overview

Citadel Security USA is seeking a dependable Part-Time Armed Mobile Patrol Officer to support critical infrastructure operations throughout the Grand Valley area. This position is responsible for conducting scheduled mobile patrols, securing multiple client properties, and helping maintain a safe environment through proactive observation and professional response.
The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently while traveling between assigned locations. This role requires sound judgment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to represent Citadel Security USA with professionalism at every site.

Primary Responsibilities

Mobile Patrol Operations

• Conduct scheduled patrols of multiple assigned properties throughout the Grand Valley area.
• Lock and unlock client buildings according to established schedules and site procedures.
• Perform interior and exterior security inspections during each patrol.
• Verify that doors, gates, windows, and other access points are properly secured.
• Maintain a visible security presence to discourage unauthorized activity.

Site Security

• Observe assigned properties for suspicious activity, safety hazards, or signs of unauthorized access.
• Investigate unusual conditions and report findings through the appropriate chain of command.
• Respond to alarms or security concerns in accordance with company procedures.
• Protect client property by identifying and reporting maintenance or security issues promptly.

Documentation & Communication

• Complete accurate patrol logs, daily activity reports, and incident documentation.
• Record building access activities, security concerns, and operational observations.
• Maintain communication with supervisors regarding incidents or unusual activity.
• Follow all post orders, operational procedures, and client-specific instructions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid authorization to work in the United States.
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
• Professional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Dependable attendance and excellent time management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous armed security, patrol, military, or law enforcement experience preferred.
• Experience performing mobile patrols across multiple properties.
• Knowledge of report writing and incident documentation.
• Familiarity with electronic reporting systems is a plus.
• Strong customer service and conflict-resolution abilities.

Physical Requirements

• Drive between multiple client locations throughout the shift.
• Walk and stand for extended periods while conducting patrols.
• Perform routine inspections of buildings and surrounding property.
• Bend, reach, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 pounds when necessary.
• Maintain visual awareness and respond quickly to changing conditions.

Work Environment

• Mobile assignment covering multiple critical infrastructure locations.
• Combination of indoor and outdoor duties in varying weather conditions.
• Independent work with frequent travel between assigned sites.
• Regular interaction with client representatives, contractors, and fellow security personnel.
• Weekend daytime schedule supporting essential operations.
