Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and assistance with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist clients with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's well-being.
- Aid in mobility and transportation for clients as needed, including heavy lifting when required.
- Administer CPR or first aid when necessary and follow safety protocols at all times.
- Support clients with hospice care as needed, ensuring comfort during challenging times.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with family members or healthcare professionals.
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving or home community care is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with CPR techniques is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- A clean background check is essential for this role.
- Must be physically capable of performing heavy lifting tasks as needed.
