Responsibilities of a Body Shop Painter entail:
- Color match, tint, and mix paint to color codes and product specs appropriately
- Apply paint in prescribed manner utilizing provided painting equipment
- Inspect painted unit for quality of painting including runs, streaks, sags, and unpainted areas
- Maintain, repair, and clean painting equipment and painting booth
- Assemble and disassemble trucks to prepare for repair and refinishing
- Mask and protect panels and trim for paint process
- Mix primer according to specifications and apply thoroughly

The requirements to be a Body Shop Painter:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School diploma or GED required
- 3-5 years of painting experience preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain a DOT medical card
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 100 pounds
