Position Overview
We are seeking skilled and passionate freelance ASL Interpreters (American Sign Language Interpreters) to join our network. As an interpreter, you will play a vital role in facilitating communication between Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals in a variety of settings, including medical, educational, legal, and community environments.
Responsibilities
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all assignments.
- Adapt to different communication styles, cultural norms, and environments.
- Follow industry standards and ethical guidelines (RID/NAD).
Qualifications:
- Candidate for this position must be an ASL Qualified, Certified or CODA interpreter.
- RID/NIC certification is a plus.
- Legal interpretation experienced preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
