Job Summary: The Techno-Functional Pricing Architect will play a crucial role in guiding the transformation of pricing systems, aligning both business objectives and technical requirements. They will be responsible for designing scalable architecture, solving complex pricing challenges, and integrating advanced analytics into pricing processes. This role requires a deep understanding of both functional business needs and technical systems to ensure seamless transitions and optimizations.Key Responsibilities: • Architectural Design: Develop comprehensive technical and functional architectural designs for the pricing transformation project, converting systems from JDE to cloud-based solutions (e.g., Azure, GCP or AWS). • Integration Management: Design and oversee the integration of new pricing systems with existing ERP, CRM, and third-party platforms to ensure seamless operations and data flow. • Techno-Functional Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance on pricing strategies, including cost-plus, competitive-based, and value-based models, and advise on technology implementations. • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand pricing requirements, provide solutions that align with business objectives, and ensure user-friendly systems enhancements. • Technical Oversight: Supervise the technical teams responsible for the conversion and integration processes, ensuring quality control and adherence to architectural standards. • Advanced Analytics & Intelligence:Integrate AI and machine learning models to enhance pricing decision-making, providing real-time data insights and analysis capabilities. • Security & Compliance: Design pricing systems with robust security features to comply with GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and other relevant standards. • Documentation & Training: Develop thorough documentation on system architecture, processes, and user manuals; provide training and support to ensure effective adoption of new systems.Qualifications: • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. • Proven experience as a tech-functional architect in pricing systems transformation, with a focus on moving from legacy platforms (e.g., JDE) to cloud-native solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP). • Deep understanding of pricing models, strategies, and processes in complex business environments. • Expertise in cloud-based technologies, microservices architecture, containerization, and real-time data processing frameworks (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, Apache Kafka). • Strong technical skills in Java Spring Boot and other relevant development frameworks. • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capability to design and implement innovative solutions to complex pricing challenges. • Superb communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders. • Experience in security protocols and compliance standards relevant to pricing systems.
