What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer position at Circus Circus Las Vegas?
Essential Job Functions:
- Support daily Engineering operations by transporting materials, equipment, and supplies across the property
- Pick up and deliver supplies from the warehouse and external vendors in a timely and organized manner
- Assist with table games and operational moves, ensuring proper handling and coordination with departments
- Support demolition, renovation, and construction projects, including site preparation and clean-up
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of Engineering shops, including trash removal and workspace upkeep
- Fuel, clean, and perform basic servicing of Engineering vehicles and equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory and organization of keys, tools, and equipment within the Engineering Tool Room
- Assist with office, furniture, and operational relocations across departments
- Replace propane tanks for patio heaters and ensure safe handling procedures are followed
- Safely operate forklifts, SkyTrak, and other heavy machinery as required to complete assigned tasks
- Follow all safety protocols and immediately report any hazards, incidents, or maintenance concerns
- Provide support across the department as needed to ensure operational efficiency and team success

- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while working in guest-facing and back-of-house areas

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in general labor, facilities, construction, or maintenance support preferred
- Ability to operate or willingness to learn operation of forklifts, SkyTrak, and similar equipment
- Strong attention to safety practices and procedures
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow directions and work both independently and as part of a team
