Circle K Business Centre is looking for a new colleague to join our team as: Senior Accountant in Operations Accounting department serving Circle K business entities in Ireland Type of Employment: Permanent Location: Riga, Latvia Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided) WHAT YOU'LL DO Respond to queries from site managers, representatives of business units (BU) and/or external partners if required Check, prepare and process journal entries, based on information received from BU and other partners Answer questions from other Company units on processed financial records Perform periodical closing procedures Perform balance sheet account reconciliation and analysis, resolve discrepancies and errors Perform stock accounts reconciliation, investigate discrepancies in categories Handle audit requests Execute and document process controls related to financial compliance Contribute to process improvement projects Drive process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance controls, and increase efficiency across the accounting cycle Provide guidance and support to team members Act as a resource for colleagues on complex accounting matters WHAT YOU'LL NEED University/College degree in accounting, economics or finance field Previous experience in accounting, finance or audit field Excellent knowledge of MS Office and willingness to learn new systems Excellent organizing abilities and attention to details Ability to work independently Ability to analyze things, and conduct investigations on discrepancies Fluency in English (both written and verbal) to communicate with colleagues and stakeholders in Europe WHY WORK WITH US For 6 years in a row, Circle K Business Centre has been awarded 1st place in the ‘CV-Online TOP Employer – International Business Services category.’ Monthly salary starting from: 2100 EUR gross Covered tariff plan for your mobile phone Health insurance Employee discounts in our stores Global and fast-paced work environment Positive atmosphere and great colleagues around you Continuous personal and professional development driven by challenging goals And more!
