Position Summary
The Production Worker is responsible for producing, inspecting, packaging, and preparing Circle Systems products for shipment while maintaining the company's high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency. This role supports daily production operations and works closely with production, quality, and shipping personnel to ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on time.
Primary Responsibilities
- Read and follow batch sheets and production instructions.
- Count, inspect, package, and label finished products.
- Prepare products for shipment, including boxing, palletizing, and assisting with shipping activities.
- Verify finished products meet Circle Systems quality standards.
- Maintain accurate production documentation.
- Assist with inventory organization and material handling.
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work cooperatively with production, quality, shipping, and management.
- Perform additional production-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification within 90 days of employment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Manufacturing or warehouse experience.
- Forklift experience.
- Experience following work instructions or production documentation.
- Basic computer skills.
Physical Requirements
This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday. Employees regularly lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally move heavier materials using proper lifting techniques or mechanical equipment. Forklifts, drum carts, pallet jacks, mixers, scales, bottling equipment, and common hand tools are used during normal production activities.
Work Environment
This position works in a manufacturing environment where employees may be exposed to machinery, moving equipment, noise, temperature changes, dust, and production chemicals. Required personal protective equipment includes steel-toed footwear, safety glasses, hearing protection, and respiratory protection when appropriate.
Schedule
Monday – Thursday
7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
