What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Worker position at Atlantic Candy Company?
The Production Worker helps ensure that manufactured items are ready for shipment by placing them into containers, sealing and labeling items. Production workers are responsible for working as a team and will be crossed trained to ensure production efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Assembling, packing, and casing products produced within the plant
- Use time efficiently
- Complete production line work in a timely manner
- Understand and follow all safety procedures and policies
- Perform quality and specification checks of material being produced and complete related
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Be responsible for Food Safety
- Maintain work area in a safe and orderly fashion according to GMP and Food Safety guidelines
Requirements:
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, knelling, stooping, and crouching all day. The assigned personnel must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. While performing to assigned job, the employee is required to speak, see, and hear clearly.

- 8 Hour shift
- 1st shift (7:00am 3:30pm)
- 2nd shift (3:30pm 12:00am)
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Rotating shift
- Weekends as needed
