Quality Control Technician – 1st & 2nd Shift Opportunities!
Location: St. Augustine, FL
Department: Quality Assurance
M-F 7:00am-3:30pm | 3:30pm-12:00am
Are you passionate about quality, precision, and ensuring products meet the highest standards? Join our growing team as a Quality Control (QC) Technician and play a key role in maintaining excellence across our manufacturing operations!
As a QC Technician, you’ll work closely with our Manager of Quality Assurance to uphold compliance with 21 CFR 111 and support all aspects of daily product testing, documentation, and quality programs. This is an exciting opportunity to be hands-on in a fast-paced, team-driven environment where quality and innovation meet!
What You’ll Do:
- Perform daily quality control tasks within the Finishing Department
- Maintain accurate production and batch records, including equipment calibration and inprocess checks
- Conduct and document GMP, sanitation, and security inspections
- Support CAPA (Corrective Action Preventive Action) investigations and nonconformance activities
- Participate in consumer complaint investigations, identify root causes, and recommend improvements
- Inspect raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to verify compliance with specifications
- Ensure GMP and food safety standards are consistently met
- Conduct environmental and ATP swabs per the Plant Environmental Program
- Verify sanitation and line clearance between production runs
- Track and report label and packaging material usage
- Partner with the Food Safety Team and participate in annual food defense training
- Maintain a state of audit readiness at all times
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and analytics tools
- AA degree in a sciencerelated field preferred (High School Diploma or equivalent required)
- Detailoriented, selfmotivated, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality
Physical Requirements
This is an active, hands-on role! You’ll be on your feet throughout the day—standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs frequently (and occasionally up to 50 lbs).
