Resource Development Director
Circle of Hope seeks a dynamic Resource Development Director to lead fundraising, donor relations, and community engagement, while providing strategic direction for our thrift stores. This senior leadership role collaborates with the Executive Director to secure financial and in-kind support for operating, program, and capital priorities.
Compensation is competitive for similar roles in our market and is based on the selected candidate’s experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies; manage campaigns and appeals
- Cultivate relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners
- Oversee fundraising events and donor communications
- Provide strategic oversight for thrift stores to align with development goals
- Contribute to senior leadership, organizational strategy, and staff wellness
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in nonprofit management, business, communications, or related field
- 3–5 years’ experience in nonprofit fundraising or donor relations
- Proven success with grants, events, and/or major gifts fundraising
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience with supervision or leadership, and proficiency in Microsoft Office
