Position Description
We are a year round, outdoor Olympic-sized pool located in a suburban neighborhood in South Austin near Slaughter Lane and Mopac. Positions fill up quickly.Under general supervision, the Lifeguard Supervisor oversees seasonal lifeguard and front desk staff and performs lifeguard and front desk
duties. The Lifeguard Supervisor is responsible for the training and supervision of the lifeguard and front
desk staff and enforces all rules and regulations pertaining to the safety and well-being
of visitors and patrons. The Lifeguard Supervisor is responsible for seasonal
staffing needs including recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, ongoing
in-service training and continuous supervision. Perform related work as
required, may include cleaning and janitorial maintenance of the pool and
surrounding facility. This position reports directly to the Program Coordinator
and Aquatics Director.
Must be 18 years or older to apply.
Starting pay is $18.00/hr.
Reliable transportation to and from work is necessary.
Shifts vary and can include weekends, mornings and/or afternoons.
Must respond promptly to work-related email/communication.
Must be able to react quickly to emergencies and follow instruction.
Must be able to work outdoors and perform physical requirements of the position.
Employees receive membership to all of our Aquatics Facilities.
