What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baker position at Circa 1886?
Circa 1886 is looking for an experienced baker to make various breads and tea items for the restaurant and hotel properties. We are a fine dining restaurant and having a background in this environment is a plus. The right candidate must be available to work 4am - 12pm with weekend availability.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Knowledgeable about the preparation and ingredients of every selection on the menu
- Receiving and putting away food deliveries
- Bread making
- Operating a dough sheeter
- Creativity in making breads/croissants/cinnamon rolls and tea items
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to work 4am - 12pm shift with weekend availability
- Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours per shift
- Must have reliable transportation
- Basic knowledge of bread production
- Professional, outgoing, and friendly personality
- The ability to work as a team with a fluid result
