Position : Acquia/Drupal Software Administrator
Location : Albany, New York
Duration : 12 months contract
8 years coding and testing PHP, HTML, and JavaScript
5 - 8years configuring and managing an Acquia/Drupal CMS
5-8 years gathering, documenting, and managing functional requirements and translating them into technical requirements
2 years coding using responsive design
Preferred qualifications include:
Acquia Certified Developer Drupal 9 or above
Experience with HTML5, Bootstrap, Twig
Experience coding web pages that meet ADA accessibility guidelines
Experience working with SQL
Scope of work :
Configure the agency tenant Acquia/Drupal solution, including data, display, and information architecture;
Deliver web solutions, including front-end User Interface (UI) and backend services;
Select and implement custom modules as necessary;
Work closely with project team members and stakeholders to ensure an effective, visually appealing and intuitive implementation;
Maintain and enhance a responsive website that meets Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility guidelines;
Analyze functional requirements and develop technical requirements;
Apply appropriate technology as a solution to the business problem;
Assist other team members in the creation of design documents and other related system documentation, and review and approve final technical design;
Assign development tasks to team members and assist as needed;
Provide CMS coding specifications and standards, and validate code against those standards;
Conduct code reviews and recommend changes;
Conduct on-the-job training in PHP/CMS implementation for staff;
Provide solution evaluation for new features, patches or bug fixes;
Provide production maintenance and support, including troubleshooting;
Provide knowledge transfer to staff; and
Provide post-implementation maintenance and support.
