Associate - General Liability

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Manage an individual caseload defending cases from inception through trial Draft and respond to pleadings and discovery Take and defend depositions of party and non-party witnesses Draft and argue discovery and dispositive motions Position Requirements:Must have a JD degree from an ABA-approved law school and maintain an active license in good standing in New York.Licensed and practiced law for 4-6 years with 3 years focused in New York General Liability and/or Personal Injury required. Appellate experience required. Licensed to also practice in New Jersey preferred.Prior remote work experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred. Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment.Cipriani & Werner P.C. offers a comprehensive benefit package. Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, included but not limited to experience and qualifications.
