The Pay Range For This Role Is
50,000 - 60,000 USD per year(IL-Mossville)

- The candidate will be a member of the team responsible for world-wide validation of metal face seals. As a Test & Validation Engineer in this team you will serve as an individual contributor on projects and assignments that support and enhance product performance, durability, reliability, quality, and serviceability.
- Operate and maintain multiple seal validation test benches
- Author and update safe job & lock out tag out procedures for seal test equipment
- Manage internal/external validation test requests and support quality/material/design improvement projects
- Perform/Apply root cause analysis on field returns
- Support NPI (New Product Introduction) and CPI (Current Product Improvement) projects
- Collaborate with system engineering teams, internal and external, to identify/validate optimum sealing system solutions
- Create and deliver technical reports
- Research and develop new sealing technologies
- BS Mechanical Engineer, Aerospace, Agricultural; 2nd preferred metallurgical, advanced physics
- Years of experience: 0 -2 years
- Proficiency in Creo or related CAD software
- Previous test/validation experience
- Experience with data analysis software
- Experience with instrumentation/controller software
- Working experience with metallic and non-metallic materials or components
