What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a Head Chef who’s not only a culinary whiz but also a natural leader who can run our kitchen and helm our catering operations. You’ll have the creative freedom to shape seasonal menus, dream up special event offerings, and bring a touch of culinary magic to both our in-house dining and off-premise events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Menu Creation & Culinary Leadership: Design and execute seasonal menus that celebrate the best of wood-fired and Italian-American cuisine. Lead a talented kitchen team, inspiring them to deliver consistently excellent dishes.
- Catering Operations: Oversee our catering services, from menu planning for private events to ensuring flawless execution off-site. Work closely with clients to customize menus and create memorable experiences.
- Team Development & Operations: Mentor and train kitchen staff, foster a collaborative and positive environment, and ensure smooth kitchen operations day-to-day. Manage inventory, control costs, and uphold health and safety standards with a smile.
Qualifications:
- Experience Requirements: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef, and at least 2 years of hands-on catering experience. We’re looking for someone who’s seasoned in both kitchen leadership and event coordination.
- Friendly Leadership: A natural at leading a team with warmth and enthusiasm. You know how to inspire your crew and keep the kitchen humming.
- Creative & Adaptable: A knack for crafting inventive menus and adapting to different event needs. You thrive on bringing creative ideas to the table.
- Business Savvy: Comfortable with the business side of the kitchen—cost control, vendor relations, and all the details that keep things running smoothly.
