Job Summary
The Electrical Engineer will provide critical technical leadership for our hot strip mill operations, directly supervising daytime electricians and overseeing shift electricians. This role combines hands-on electrical maintenance expertise with project management and preventive maintenance strategies to ensure optimal operational performance.
Duties
- Lead and supervise the electrical maintenance team, providing technical guidance and mentorship
- Champion safety initiatives, policies, and procedures across all electrical operations
- Identify and implement solutions for issues related to safety, quality, and production
- Manage electrical capital projects from concept through implementation
- Organize and execute downturn maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems
- Update and maintain electrical documentation and schematics
- Provide electrical support for day-to-day operations and troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required
- Previous electrical maintenance experience in industrial settings
- Demonstrated familiarity with motor controls, VFDs, and power distribution systems
- Experience with industrial automation systems preferred

Salary : $105,000 - $135,000
