What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inspector / Lab Support position at Cincinnati Thermal Spray, Inc.?
SUMMARY:
Performs final visual and dimensional inspection of completed parts. Reads and interprets specifications, and uses that information to prepare lab samples, coating evaluations and develop a lab report containing results of lab tests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Use various tools and gauges to verify coating thickness on samples to meet specifications.
- Performs visual inspection of products for defects, cracks, and chips in product.
- Reads, understands and uses specifications to prepare, test and evaluate lab samples.
- Documents results of inspections and ensure records are retained according to CTS procedures.
- Communicate lab results promptly with/to appropriate personnel.
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or GED
- Mathematical Skills - Add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure.
- Must be US Person pursuant to ITAR / EAR
- Ability to make accurate measurements using various gauges and tools.
